Manal Samra is a development expert with extensive participatory research experience across the MENA region, focusing on youth enablement, women’s participation in public policy, and competency-based education training. She has been instrumental in TVET reform, developing labor market-aligned curricula, workforce transition programs, teacher professional development, and career guidance initiatives to enhance youth employability. As Egypt’s Focal Point for the African Technology for Policy Studies (ATPS), she has led initiatives for over a decade, fostering policy dialogue and research-driven solutions. A diversity and civic education trainer at the Goethe Institute in Cairo, she introduced systems thinking concepts in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco, advancing education policy and reform.
