Main Service: Workforce Improvement & Skills Enhancement

The Workforce Improvement and Skills Enhancement (WISE) Project aimed to bridge the gap between education and employment by enhancing TVET systems, career readiness, and workforce skills in Egypt.

USAID WISE Project

  • Launched the Transition to Employment Model, integrating career services into 60+ technical schools across 11 governorates.
  • Institutionalized the UTE model, ensuring sustainability through MoETE’s decree, officially integrating it into Egypt’s technical education system.
  • Facilitated 33,128 job placements & 19,479 in-company training opportunities, directly connecting students with the labor market.
  • Empowered students with career training & internships, with 73,427 students participating in Career Guidance (CG) training and 67,741 students benefiting from innovation and entrepreneurship sessions.
  • Designed two specialized diplomas in Logistics and Renewable Energy, aligning technical education with labor market demands.
  • Facilitated public-private partnerships, bridging the gap between education providers and industry leaders.
